As weird as this will sound - this movie is the Marvel version of when the Scooby gang split up, but it's done well, and feels natural; leading to a rather epic concluding battle with some of the grandest visual effects and insane battles in the entire series. They saved the big guns until the last Avengers movie, and it feels like it. Marvel's Avengers early impressions: Kamala Khan is the hero this game needs.
Marvel-centric campaign is immediately engaging and fun, but live service elements and occasional. If you haven't guessed, Marvel's The Avengers is a superhero movie. So it's nice to see that it features some fairly super heroics. The Avengers here consist of four superheroes who have already gotten their own movies: Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and the Hulk, plus a couple of add-on heroes in the form of super-spy Black Widow and the arrow-wielding marksman Hawkeye. Quick-witted and nuanced, this movie takes the best of the genre -- iconic heroes fighting for truth and justice -- and dishes it out in a fanboy-pleasing, edge-of-your seat way. Superhero movies are a dime a dozen these days, so when you chance upon a gem like The Avengers, thank the comic book gods.
